I studied Visual communication at Stockholm university and later Interaction design at Linneaus university. But as of late trying my wings as a freelance UX/web designer.
My main strengths is in tailoring the design to the audience it is meant for! and then adding that little extra to give them an experience above their expectations.
I have been skateboarding for as long as I can remember. For the last 5 years I have also been considered a professional. A childhood dream come true!
More skateboarding! Whilst living in Berlin many years ago, me and my friend deiced to start a skateboard brand. The brand is "Poetic Collective" and I enjoy working with it as a creative outlet!
Absolutely love coffee in all of it forms. It is essential for my survival.
My first ever job, while I was still in school, was to write, publish and SEO both job ads and educational ads on two platforms. These were "jobportalen.se" and "studieportalen.se". Both not operational at this moment.
After I graduated primary school I took a job as a demolisher at Stockholm Support. No explanation really needed...
Youth recreational leader on a school in the south of Stockholm. I was at first a special aid for a couple of children having a hard time to concentrate, but after about one year I was promoted to be in charge of the after school programs for the ages 10 - 13. This involved planning fieldtrips and having a close relation to their teachers for making sure that all children were in a good state of mind.
When starting my first university program, which you can read further down. I took a job as a skateboard coach at Fryshuset in Stockholm. This was mainly a job about teaching skateboarding to newcomers and veterans. It also entailed organizing summer camps and special skateboard events like "All girl skate" and "Non-binary Skate initiative".
After I finished my university exam, I took a job at a clothing store called Junkyard, and acted as their lead visual merchandiser at their flagship store in Stockholm. I was in charge of how the store looked and how to make sure customers had a good flow to follow inside the store. I was also in charge of the media content playing inside the store as well as setting up minor events like film showings etc. I am still employed but is now on pause for my studies.
My last years of primary school I chose to focus on math and programming as my special subjects. I was a student at Kärrtorps gymnasium.
When studying at Stockholm University I studied a program called Visual communication. The education was mainly focused around marketing and marketing practices and provided a broad perspective on the field. It also incorporated some courses in graphics design and general business strategy.
My current education is Interaction design at Linnéuniversitetet. This is a more focused education on UX and UI design with a focus on users and how to take full use of user studies and input to create meaningful designs and products.
